![]() The purpose of this video is to show Tiny's new design in action as she has only appeared in 3 games (Diddy Kong Racing DS, Barrel Blast, and as a trophy in Brawl). Personally if *I* had to come up with one, I'd say Tiny has gotten better with her whole size changing ability ^_~ Everyone just acts like it's perfectly normal. As it ends up, her Barrel Blast apperance actually DID come first as Rare mentions in their Scribes section that her redesign was either Paon or Nintendo's doing.Īs for an in-game explanation? There is none. However, remember that Barrel Blast was in development for a while as a Gamecube game. Now, you'll probably mention that Tiny's first redesigned apperance was in Rare's Diddy Kong Racing DS. ![]() So, when Paon went about creating Barrel Blast, they wanted another female Kong and brought in Tiny, but in order to make her more distinct they changed her design as Dixie is a much more well known design and thus could not be changed.Īlso, Tiny's in-game model in DK64 could be mistaken for a very very small teenager due to how she is dressed (go look up a screenshot). ![]() Now, as it ends up, Tiny and Dixie being related was never mentioned in Japan anywhere. Well, after more research than anyone should actually do on the topic, I seem to have found the answer.Īfter Rare was bought by Microsoft, a Japanese company called Paon took over the Donkey Kong Country series. Now, if you haven't heard about the redesign before, you're probably wondering HOW THE HECK DID THAT HAPPEN! Though if you're interested, Cyberman65 has some videos of her in action in the Japanese release. Brawl trophy.ĮDIT: Tiny will be in Super Mario Sluggers so expect an updated video once Sluggers hits the states. Features all animations from Donkey Kong: Barrel Blast and an overview of her Super Smash Bros.
